I believe that the generations before us really set high expectations and want us to be like them and want us to grow up the way they did. Times have changed. The world is so different from our generation to others, and that’s what people don’t want to hear. We aren’t brought up the same way, obviously. We evolve over time as does everything and that’s where us millennials get drug in the dirt. The generation before us is such ‘I grew up the way, you should too’. I often get told that my generation is trash, we’re weird, we don’t understand anything, and so on. I solemnly believe that we are more understanding on some topics and not so understanding on topics we don’t care about.
Life is so much different than it was back then, and life will continue to change throughout the years and that’s what everyone has to understand. Nothing stays the same, that would be strange.
